Get access to life-saving specialty and imported medicines through our free Patient Assistance Program. A.K. Pharma works directly with manufacturers to help patients across India access critical medicines at little or no cost.
A Patient Assistance Program (PAP) is a scheme offered by pharmaceutical manufacturers that provides eligible patients with access to their medicines — either free of charge, at reduced cost, or through a structured supply mechanism — when the medicine is otherwise unaffordable or unavailable through standard channels.
PAP schemes are available for a number of specialty medicines distributed by A.K. Pharma. We work directly with patients, caregivers, oncologists, and hospitals to facilitate the application process and ensure eligible patients receive their medicines without unnecessary delays.
You must have a confirmed diagnosis of the condition for which the medicine is prescribed — supported by pathology reports, biopsy results, or imaging. A prescription from a registered oncologist or specialist is mandatory for all PAP applications.
PAP is designed for patients who cannot afford the full cost of their prescribed medicine. Financial eligibility is assessed by the manufacturer based on income documents — such as salary slips, income certificates, or BPL cards.
PAP is available to patients whose health insurance does not cover the specific medicine they need. Most specialty and imported medicines are not covered under standard Indian health insurance plans — making PAP a critical access pathway.

Call or WhatsApp us with your medicine name and doctor's details. We confirm PAP availability and send you a documents checklist within 24 hours.
Share your prescription, medical records, ID proof, and income documents with us. We guide you on exactly what is needed for your specific medicine.
We compile your complete application and submit it directly to the manufacturer's PAP programme — handling all follow-up so you don't have to.
Once approved — typically within 7 to 21 working days — we arrange genuine medicine supply directly to you, your hospital, or your pharmacy. We also handle all future renewals.
